Rafael GARCIA SERRANO.(Pamplona, Navarra, 11-II-1917 – Madrid, 12-X-1988). Escritor, periodista y guionista y director cinematográfico. Licenciado en Filosofía y Letras por la Universidad de Madrid. En 1934 se afilió a Falange Española Tradicionalista (FET). Durante la Guerra Civil (1936-1939) fue subdirector de Arriba España, codirigió la revista Jerarquía, colaboró en La Hora de España y se alistó voluntariamente en el ejéreito nacionalista; sus experiencias durante este periodo las reflejó en la novela La fiel infantería (1943, premio nacional de literatura “José Antonio Primo de Rivera”). Entre 1945 y 1957 trabajó en el diario Arriba como redactor, corresponsal en Roma (Italia, 1946-1947), enviado especial en Hispanoamérica y director (1957); entre 1960 y 1965 dirigió la revista Primer Piano, y entre 1974 y 1975 estuvo al frente de la agencia Pyresa.
