Josep Irla i Bosch
(Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona, 24-X-1874 – Saint Raphael, Francia, 19-IX-1958). Político. Fue alcalde de su ciudad natal, donde fundó la revista El Programa, de orientación federalista; posteriormente fue diputado provincial por Girona y consejero de la Mancomunitat de Cataluña. En 1931 ingresó en Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC), partido por el que fue elegido diputado a Cortes (1931) y al Parlament (1932); en 1933 fue nombrado director general de Industria. Ocupó la Conselleria de Governado (24-I-1933), tras el traspaso de competencias de orden público a la Generalitat, cargo en el que fue relevado el 7-II-1933 por Pere Mias.
