(Xàtiva, Valencia, ¿? - Toledo, ¿1571?). Compositor. Hijo de Pedro de Rivera, maestro de capilla de la iglesia colegial de Xátiva. En junio de 1559 entró en la catedral de Ávila como maestro de coro. Allí tuvo como pupilo a Tomás Luis de Victoria, quien aprendió de él canto y composición, y cuyo estilo musical es, en buena medida, deudor del de Ribera.
